Placing pets in loving, responsible, committed homes
About Us
Troy Animal Rescue Project was formed in March of 2014. Since this time, we have assisted in the placement of thousands of pets in need. As a private animal rescue, we do not receive state or federal funding. We are run solely off private donations.
Troy Animal Rescue Project is a federally recognized 501c3 non-profit, no-kill rescue organization serving pets from Alabama and surrounding southern state. We are dedicated to rescuing pets left homeless, pets given up by their owners, pets in abuse/neglect situations, and pets at risk for euthanasia. We assist pets in many different situations without regard to breed, age, or health issue.
We currently provide rescue services for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, rats, mice, hamsters, birds, and reptiles.
We place pets in loving, responsible, committed homes following a comprehensive adoption process. Animals in our care are spayed/neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care, and are placed into foster homes or at our 4 acre rescue center while they await their permanent homes.
